BBQ sauce recipes

Sweet and Sour Barbecue Sauce

Makes about 300ml (1/2 pint)

Ingredients

  • 250ml (8 fl oz) tomato ketchup

  • 150ml (1/4 pint) orange marmalade or apricot jam

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon horseradish sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • a pinch of freshly ground black pepper

Method

  • Put all the ingredients in a heavy-based saucepan and heat until simmering.

  • Serve with pork.
