BBQ sauce recipes

Honey & Mustard Sauce

Makes about 250ml (8 fl oz)

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons clear honey

  • 3 tablespoons English or French mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon horseradish sauce

  • 1 tablespoon cornflour

  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Method

  • Put all the ingredients in a heavy-based saucepan and cook over a gentle heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture clears and thickens slightly.

  • Serve with hamburgers, steaks and chops.
